Soulmates. Interesting term. I think a lasting, faithful relationship in reality requires regular choices. The term soulmate gives me the idea that it’s easy, and I don’t have to make choices. Even with my best friend of nearly 40 years I must choose to be there, be faithful and be her lover. To take that for granted, expect her to be my version of perfect, or deny that I am capable with one decision of destroying her world and my own seems utterly foolish to me. So, in my opinion, yes, soulmates can cheat. 🙂
