I interact more in the comments section but also chat with people in the messages section.

Depends on the content of the message.

personal messages, I don't want the whole site privy to my stuff

If it becomes a conversation I say take it to DM.

Sometimes i wish i could receive messages from certain people 😩

I don't really want to talk to anyone
