@Tracos I don't think a 5 year old would have been so much more conscious of it than a 4 year old. It's not like 5 year olds typically watch the news. They simply knew what their parents told them. That's it (and that happens to be just as true for those who were 4 in 2001 as well).

I didn't setup the definition... But this the reason... A similar divide is the financial crisis of 2008... age 12... Call it a loss of innocence

@Tminus6453 That would make more sense, but most definitions that I see define millennials as being born from 1980 to 1996

@Rikudou Yeah That doesnt make sense, their more formidable years of growing up (0-25y/o)are what defines the current generation which would make them millenials
