50cc Motorbikes. These days they look plasticy naff things but in the '70’s they were solid metal things and you could 'play' with the engineering to get better fuel economy or make small differences to engine performance.
You could always find Second hand radiators or fuel pumps etc.at your local dump or scrapheap for pennies.
So maintenance was kinda fun too !
I get the impression it's a lot harder to do that these days.

It’s got many uses as I’ve witnessed but definitely can have negative impacts for some when used to frequently over an extended period of time. I’m sure if you’re responsible with it your brain will be okay 👌 @Dirtymikeandtheboys
