I see American politics as very polarized. Other nations have centrist parties, and coalitions that must work together.

No. It’s impossible due to the Electoral College and more importantly, the winner take all nature of the House and Senate. We don’t have a proportional representation system that allows third parties to thrive.

If dissatisfied with the current state of politics, you have to pick one of the two parties and work to change it.

It will be the only way this country will thrive.
