Summer oh and autumn

rckt148 · 61-69, M
As I am older and have health issues ,heart and breathing
I like the cold better ,I can dress for the cold ,when I am in shorts and its still to hot ,I am miserable
I get exerted faster so its hard to breath ,its more then just a preference .

In my youth I worked on engines ,I had to be in an engine room or along side an engine running full throttle ,so its cranking out 180 -200 degrees
I was a roofer ,I used 3 halogen light's to light my work even in the summer
when I would hang and finish sheet rock ,do trim work or paint ,I want to see every little scratch and fix it as I go ,those lights are like heaters .
I have worked search and rescue ,on the water ,fighting fires with and without a flame suit so there was a time I could adapt ,,not anymore

I prefer it cold ,,most people prefer to wear sweat clothing to visit me
I like my home pretty cold all year around
It is literally hell for me going out into a 100 degree day now

I love them all for different reasons. The fresh new awakening of spring when flowers blooming start the new natural year. The summer where birds and bees proudly do their work pollinating and restocking the world with little baby birds. The autumn where you could just die from the beauty of the difference in the colour of the trees and the melancholy of the falling leaves. The smell of bonfires and fireworks, time slows down and gets ready for the winter where the land becomes covered in a winter chill, sometimes carpeted in snow but lovely all the same to snuggle inside with a loved one or to wrap up warm and brave the winter weather

I love them all, but probably summer with those long evenings and enough warmth to sit outside in my underwear 🙂

I like the time before and around summer solstice (from May to the end of June), then October, November, December.

The time when all plants grow like crazy, bloom and the first storm paints evening sky with mysteriously colored light.

The time when all trees turn red, orange and brown, sky is clear blue and you feel fresh cold air and smoke in the air.

The time before Christmas when the world gets wrapped in thick fog and the first snow falls.

@SW-User That's just like North Dakota. We used to have a slogan, "Summer came to North Dakota but I had to work that day" LOL

I like autumn. Lot of fond memories, lots of food and drinks spiced right, and the right time to make some old family recipes that need to sit for a while.
I love them all for different reasons. When I lived in the Midwest it was Autumm because of the colors of leaves, fiery orange, yellow, green, etc. just gorgeous!

Spring, early summer, early winter, fall. I like beginnings in transition.
Summer all day and all night long :)
