There are things in this world and our lives that cannot be understood or explained. I try when such things bother me, to pass them off as just coincidental. But if as you say something significant has physically occurred, you might want to review what you did (going on this ghost tour) and mentally review what your approach to it was. It could be a psychological thing for you. Or if you're a believer in a given faith, talk to someone such as a minister, rabbi, etc. They might have some answers.
