Neither one, some people are extremely sensitive to any type of criticism, including positive. They just don’t like to be critiqued.

If they're reacting to something positive that you said, they're probably going to take offense at almost anything (unless you made some inappropriate comment about their body) just because that's the kind of mood they're in.

Otherwise, if you've stated an opinion, however respectfully, they probably disagree and can't stomach any opinion other than their own, however respectfully and articulately stated. I think that's probably I get blocked.
