When I was growing up it seemed like all the “cool” kids got to go out on beggar’s night. One year I asked my Mom if I could, she said I had to choose one night...beggar’s night or Halloween. I chose Halloween. Who knows what I might have gotten on beggar’s night...could have been multi vitamins 😱😱😱

haha! Well I wont have my American brother-in law giving out the lollies this year, since he has gone back home...It was a novelty to the Australian mums that came around with their kitties an American person greeting and giving out candies somehow makes it an authentic Halloween for Australians..the are tickeled pink🤔 🤩 😁

@seeandhear yes it is family orientated suburb..surrounded by 2 schools and about 4 day care centers so you can imagine the amount of children....🤣

@marsbar @seeandhear Long ago in the dim ages of the past, when I was a kid in Iowa, October 30 was designated as "Beggar's Night." The suburbs here in the Milwaukee area are having trick or treating on staggered nights.
