I had a good friend killed in a motorcycle accident last year .
Every year he played lead guitar for me for a December Birthday I always play for a New Years party with him .
This year his widow has asked if I would play for her party ,and my Daughter did say pretty please ,,,
So I am about to go rock their New Years party .
and since my youngest has not drank any alcohol for years now
I plan to let her have a good time ,and Dad ,sober as a judge will make sure she gets home safe and sound ,,
And she can brag about how good I was in the morning LOL
I plan to see my friend has a good time ,and my Daughter is proud of her Dad
And I'm no amateur ,playing or driving ,We got this
None of my other kids party ,so I know where they are too
grandkids ,nieces and nephews ,all will be safe ,drinking sparkling grape juice and listening to concerts on TV ,,,
Its going to be a killer night ,and I don't have anyone to worry about
the only one who will be drinking ,asked me to drive
And I am good for all the DWI check points tonight ,I am sure we will go through a few ,our city is covered up in them
not a good night to drive if your drinking ,
Tomorrow many will be wishing they had asked Dad to drive too

@CanarysCry I have been avoiding bad drivers ,bad boaters ,and just dumb asses in general for a very long time ,especially when I know they are drinking ,
So they are going to have to be trying to hit me on purpose ,,that would not end well .I take a dim view to someone endangering my kids .
But we will be fine ,she should be here any time
I am suppose to go on at 9 ,she is always late ,always
So I am sure the party is already underway
I will make it worth the wait ,,thank you for being so sweet and concerned for everyone .

It was the best night in 2017 ,starting off 2018 ,,,,we had a blast and missed the road blocks ,,best night in a long time
it was a party for me ,,go figure ,
I am thankful I was invited ,but i am out of practice at pool ,I sucked
but I did rock ,,thats what I was there to do .everyone had a blast
