Almost anything by Jim Carry :)

I prefer Monty Python.
An older classic would be "And now for something completely different"
A Movie released in the late 80s was "Brazil" which was a comedic take off of the dystopian culture of 1984. It starred a few of the Monty Python cast and Bob Hoskins.
@TheOrionbeltseeker I loved it.
It reminded me of the bombing of Harrods in 1983. I visited London on New Years eve which was two weeks later and the store was immaculate.

There is a scene where they are at a restaurant where a bomb goes off and there is blood everywhere but everyone ignores it as if nothing happened.
This was back in the day of the IRA.
It was hilarious.

@SomeLikeItHot I was negative 5 years at that time.
@TheOrionbeltseeker I was a young sailor at a bar across from Harrods getting a couple of free ales. I was treated very well because I was American.
Now France was a different story in 84 and the border patrol.

Probably the original The Man Who Came To Dinner with Monty Woolley and Bette Davis. Arsenic and Old Lace with Cary Grant is a blast. The Laurel and Hardy 30min short, The Music Box is unbelievable.

I love two Richard Dreyfus films: What About Bob and Let It Ride. Stripes with Bill Murray is big fun. Also the original, Out Of Towners with Jack Lemmon is a great nyc comedy. And give a try to the Dream Team with Michael Keaton and Christopher Lloyd.

@bijouxbroussard will take care of your sense of humour.
