I want to quit everyone I have ever had. If I did not need the paycheck I would not stay with them. I have quit a few.

@dawnmill Me too. I had my ticket and had full faith I would get it. I Just want to be free from the working world.

@SW-User Yeah! Me too! I At a previous job, me and a coworker would sit there and put a battery operated candle by our ticket and we'd pray over it and do chants. We were mostly being silly, but pretty serious too. But seriously, I think I'm going to try to just clean one house a day or every other day or something and be semi-broke, as my husband doesn't make a ton but we don't have too many bills.

@dawnmill That may be the way to go. It will give a little extra income but will still free you up most days. I wish I could find a part time job. I live alone and have to take care of everything. So I either work or be homeless. I choose work.

Not since I was younger and didn't have kids. Now that i have kids, i couldn't do that. I need to be able to support them and be responsible.

I agree. No need to put this on your resume. I hope this year gets better for you and you find a job that you like and enjoy.

@FLami Right?!? I realize I have actually done this before, when I was younger and looking for just the right job, though it didn't seem quite as extreme. The job I finally settled down with, I stayed with for 17 years. I do feel a little more intolerant now but, I think it is just a very antiquated view for employees to not be able to try places out and leave if they don't like it without having to carry that tarnish on their resume/application for life. It's not right. I remember in the past when I went thru it, I left a couple things off and nobody said anything about it.
No. I am always employed and never quit a job without two weeks notice and another job waiting for me.

@Stereoguy Yeah, years ago I went thru it so I'm kind of repeating my early 20's, and anyway, I did not put my short term jobs and everything was fine and I went on to a 17 year job.
