Had to travel to an offshore oil platform right before a hurricane ... using a low flying 4 engine cargo plane from Dallas and a terrifying highspeed helicopter to the platform ... with the pilot ordering me off ... so he could get on with recovering workers from platforms prior to the storm.

I actually had the most fantastic gourmet meal ever at lunch ... learned more in 12 hours than I thought possible and was recovered in time to dinner at a small cajun restaurant where I met a lady who was to die for beautiful!

So ... it really worked out!

I spent a few days in Belgrade for work and enjoyed it, really friendly people.

Haven't been to Belgrade, but it's often the unexpected that leaves the best memories ...
