Why are things so peaceful in Canada?

Yes, we have violence here, and racism, and our bad apples, but generally speaking... we're not divided five ways to Sunday and up in arms at each other. We're not afraid of each other. Some of us even actually DO leave our doors unlocked.

But why? Our cultures are so similar, and mine, so undeniably Americanized, but what keeps us from killing each other so much? What are we apparently doing right? Is it the the gun control? Is it the culture? ... Is HAARP real?? What do YOU think, what gives?

from the beginning Canada has been lucky enough to have discovered the value of diversification, to the economy and the culture of the country, while the US came up with the idea of trying to force everyone to conform. The Mayflower came from Europe with people who wanted religious freedom and then began the persecution of minorities. Maybe the Indians put a curse on the land that was stolen from them. Plus Canada is not owned by the NRA
