I Have Nice Teeth
I'm very lucky I do. Apart from a small gap in my two front teeth, I've never had braces and my teeth are basically straight!

I have stayed on my kids to take care of theirs and they have ,so the cavities ,teeth falling our prematurely altering the natural spacing ,they have been able to avoid .except my 8 yr old
My ex and I have a 8 yr old boy and since we split up I have not been able to ensure he takes care of his teeth as I did when I was with him every day ,so Tuesday he goes to get 2 pulled .
The pain of a cavity and extra work to keep them clean has finally woke him up why Dad stayed on him to protect his teeth .
Thankfully this will not mess up his spacing as they should be falling out soon anyway .
I grew up with everyone putting their teeth in a denture boat at night ,so when I only needed 2 teeth repaired ,but my insurance would not cover it ,but would cover pulling them all and making me dentures ,I was stupid and went for it .
Had I realized then how important especially your bottom teeth are I would not have been so easily talked into it ,but at least I can pass on my experience and guide my kids to take better care of theirs ,no using them for tools ,flossing ,being careful about whiting products that destroy the enamel .
Its nice you have pretty teeth ,but that smile is just one benefit ,
even with a good bottom plate ,there are some things I don't eat anymore I love ,
just because its a hassle bitting certain things wearing dentures
they wouldn't spend a few hundred fixing 2 teeth ,so I made them spend $4.000.00 on my dentures ,but they are pretty ,and easy to keep that way lol
