I Love My Cousin
Exhausted. Good day. Played with my cousins, 16 and 17, at the park. Did some parcour(se) that they saw on some YouTube channel. Negahiga? Basically monkeying around on the park equipment, doing one thing, then the others had to copy. I had forgotten how competitive teenage boys can be. Oh, my little brother, too, 24.
Of course, I destroyed them mercilessly, doing backflips off dangerously high places, doing pull ups and front flips and other kinds of physically taxing and dexterous stuff. But, it's good to know i can still whoop teenagers' butts. 😈 I'm still in my prime. For a couple more years, anyway. xD Well, only one is an athlete, though.
Also beat them in basketball, lol. And i haven't played in, like, 9 years or something. xD Was always good at that kind of thing, I guess.
You know. I had thought i didn't have any interest in such things anymore, but i had a really fun time with them. Family. :)
We've seen them maybe 5-7 times in the past 3 years, mostly on holidays. We were really close as kids. They lived with us for a year, too. Sorta makes me a bit sad, too, though. 'Cause the 16 year old popped up to 6'4 seemingly in no time. The 17 year old, 6'1. Last I remember, it seems, they were half my size and I was swinging them by their arms.
It's like i missed a lot of their lives. They were kids last month, now they've shot up taller and bigger than me. :O But. At the same time, Ive had a lot of shit to deal with in my life. It is a shame, though. Well. Made some good memories, today. :D
