How long is it "normal" for self harm cuts to sting for?

I don't want really want to explain but it isn't deep and I don't think it should still sting. I haven't been doing anything today, including after that.

Stinging is your damaged nerves. It's not a sign of a problem aside from the cut itself. Do usual first aid like antibiotic cream / bandaid. Try to avoid rubbing it or causing it to reopen.

I used to do it on my entire left arm and it didn't sting 24/7 but it did sting whenever my sleeves rubbed on it.. also when I showered.

I have been in my room, so I decided I would keep my clothes from rubbing on it, so nothing has been touching it.

Sorry to hear that you cut. I hope you're doing okay. :(

Make sure you've got disinfectant on it and the cut is kept dry and covered. That's the best you can hope for.

Let them soak in warm water. Take a bath. That should help.

What's your excuse?

@QueenOfHeartz: in my experience soaking it delays healing and delayed healing leads to scarring.. especially if you disturb scabs it'll cause a scar

Right now, it is 9:42 pm, so I have to go to bed really soon.

Here's an idea: stop mutilating the only body you have and seek help.
