How to get rid of acne?

It isn't severe, but it bothers me.
Take it from someone who suffered from it and been through it with my daughter...(and tried everything) go to the dermatologist straight instead of buying stuff online or using home made remedies. Certain acne can only be treated with medication . It will save you lotsof money and time by just going to a dermatologist first.

Even if it isn't bad?
@Rene1027: it will be cheaper in the long run i would say to pay the $200 consultation fee than try out all kinds of different remedies.

Never touch your face (or your face to anything) except to rinse it twice or three times a day with just plain water. Also change your pillow cases weekly.

Keep your hands and face clean, try not to touch your face and don't mess with individual pimples. Acne is a natural part of being in your age range and it passes.

Diet has nothing to do with acne, so don't waste time eliminating this or eating that. Acne is a term describing skin pores that have become clogged from the outside by dirts like grease, oils, etc. Stay clean, be patient, and don't stress. You'd be amazed at how many people see right past acne to the beauty underneath.

How much water do you drink? Drinking a lot of water helps.

I already drink like 8-10 cups of water a day.

Do you use the right face wash for your skin type? Skin being too dry due to face washers can also cause acne.

Don't touch it, don't try to pop it. Let time do the job
