Is cracking your back and neck bad? I read it's air bubbles between joints that crack...

Well, why does it feel so good?!
And why do people get air bubbles?

you're basically stretching your joints which opens up space for the gases in the synovial fluid to escape which bubbles up to the surface and causes the cracking sensation.
i can't explain it any better than that.

Are the gases good or bad?

they're not bad it's just built up air. mostly oxygen and nitrogen. cracking your joints isn't bad for you, don't worry about it.

The air bubbles push outward and cause pressure between the vertebra. Cracking it relieves the pressure.
If you get enough air bubbles you can trade them in for a fart.

I was told that the cracking is soft tissue/ligaments, not the bones. The cracking is loosening them up and it isn't particularly bad. However jerking your head or neck around to make it crack is not advisable as you can do damage. I heard of a masseuse who tried that on a client and broke her neck, I do wonder if you can break your own neck.

farting is fun. It's a funny noise, and you never know if it will smell. Sometimes, squeezing the ass cheeks to hold it only makes it squeak out. Ha.

I'd like to know the answer to this as well , but we all fart, yeah? I realize that's not terribly helpful in answering your question.🐒
