I Am Enjoying Being A Muslim
Suffering is a gift. In it is hidden mercy.
It is almost a principle that the heart does not mend except through pain, and does not recover and regain its tenderness except through suffering. Sometimes pain teaches what pleasure never could.
[big]The pain we feel today is the strength we will feel tomorrow.[/big]
In Allah, there is no sorrow or suffering or affliction. If I want to be free of all affliction and suffering, I should hold fast to Allah, and turn wholly to Him, and to no one else. Indeed, all my suffering comes from this: that I do not turn toward Allah and no one else.
The wound is the place where the Light enters us.
