Going up that road towards the summit,
Admiring the contrast of the dark land mass against the glowing sky,
The last stars fading,
Open landscape lays behind,
Once at the top,
The world laid at my feet,
The mountains rolling away,
Slow paced clouds guiding my eyes
To far away places,
The bright horizon,
Set ablaze by the new day light.
The hope of the new born day,
The dreams that lay beyond the curve of the earth,
I belong here and there,
I am stretched, all encompassing,
Feeling the cold of the air here,
And the warmth of the sun there,
Feeling what is and what will be,
I belong in this world,
I belong in this day,
I am a speck,
I am part of a whole,
