I Write Poetry
STRANGERS NO MORE
Two strangers, walking the paths of life
They walk alone, searching for a connection, a friend
Eyes connect, there's something there
They stop, and walk towards each other
There's something tangible
They both feel it
They reach out with their hands, and fingers touch
There is a spark, then an explosion
Instantly, mutual feelings are shared
Respect, Loyalty, Honesty
Unwritten rules are also known
Listen, Belief in each other, Care
The fingers separate
They both smile
Two strangers, walking the paths of life
But they are not strangers anymore
Where once they walked alone
They now walk together, side by side
Two strangers, walking the paths of life
They walk alone, searching for a connection, a friend
Eyes connect, there's something there
They stop, and walk towards each other
There's something tangible
They both feel it
They reach out with their hands, and fingers touch
There is a spark, then an explosion
Instantly, mutual feelings are shared
Respect, Loyalty, Honesty
Unwritten rules are also known
Listen, Belief in each other, Care
The fingers separate
They both smile
Two strangers, walking the paths of life
But they are not strangers anymore
Where once they walked alone
They now walk together, side by side
