@PoetryNEmotion: houdini is staying in michigan with my friend terry till he's healed up enough to return to wild..... swimming part is easy - the water is warm enough and high enough salinity in the eastern caribbean that if you breathe you float......like 20 years ago this dude kevin (founded Virgin Islands Search & Rescue - an all volunteer non-profit - VISAR) went looking for this drunk went missing while snorkeling off a boat in tortola.....found him around midnight by Jost Van Dyke floating face down in the water.....went to drag him into the boat and he wakes up and screams.....fucker was passed out dead drunk IN THE WATER with a snorkel in his mouth - no shit - THAT'S how easy it is to swim there......

@yllacsar: I haven't learned to swim. I would like to find that person who could teach me to overcome that fear. Never have though. Wow. That is really blue. I love it.
Thats what i'm saying - you just wade into the water and the water is warm enough and high enough salinity that you float....you can just paddle around floating on your back - no swimming necessary.....so you can figure it out at a leisurely pace.....
