I Like Short Shorts
Today was a short shorts day for me. Up north it was snowing and my friends were freezing and stuck in traffic -- but where I live in sunny Arizona it was 85 degrees F. I bring this up because I am one of those mean girls.
I still like short shorts, but when I was younger (and had the legs for it) I liked them REALLY short and my parents did not!!!!!! I used to gradually, very slowly -- over two or three weeks cut denim shorts (which were my favorite) shorter and shorter, and I could get them to the point that just a shadow of a hint of my butt cheeks were peeking out --and Mom and Dad never noticed!-- albeit I did sometimes use excuses --the way I had been sitting, they bunched up, etc.
This experience has taught me a lesson for parents of tween and teen girls (of which I am now one) : use a ruler :)
