I do think multiculturalism is innately flawed. People have to be identified under one overarching banner, and a society doesn't work if you've got separate cultures vying for social dominance. I would also recommend Slavoj Zizek on the topic of multiculturalism.

You have put it very well.Some cultures are backward for want of a better word and need to evolve to a more civilised mode.One just cannot say that all cultures are equal,it does not make any sense and it does not work,it also is quite regressive for more advanced cultures.A civilised culture just cannot accept the stoning of a woman as an "adulteress" or even the flogging of a young unmarried girl who has been raped as having had "non marital relations",this is insane! Our culture cannot accept this as part of "multiculturalism" and say that it is OK because another culture does it,it beggars belief!

Evrery time this guy says "Canada" I'm thinking there must be a Canada on another planet. One w/a "Quebec" (and seemingly an "Ontario")
