I Have a Crush

I have known her since the fall of 2015, she works at the same job as I do.

In February I started to noticed this strange feeling I would get about her. I never felt something like it before. It made me feel happy, anxious, excited, and hopeful all at once. I liked talking to her more than anyone else. Whenever I walked into work and saw her my day would get much brighter. After talking to my trusted friends, I found out that it was this thing people called a "crush".

She is the first person I think about when I wake up and the last person I think about before I fall asleep. I have had multiple dreams about her. It seems like I see her each night.

I sometimes think about her so much that I am unable to focus in class. All I want is to be with her sometimes. She keeps me awake at night, causing me to dream about her. When I am not by her side I really want to text her.

She is a year and a half younger than me. She is also currently one of my friends. I am glad I am able to hangout and talk with her and I feel very lucky to be friends with her. She is a one of a kind to me. I've never met a girl that makes me feel like this. Sure, I have seen a lot that I think are pretty, but none of them have made me feel like this emotionally. Not many people can brighten up my day by just being around me.

I am not sure when I should confess my feelings for her. I want to become closer friends with her first and learn more about her. I only have about a year left before I leave for Air Force basic training. I want to let her know how I feel before that time. I am giving out tiny hints here and there, but it is hard to do since I don't see her too often outside of work. I give out tiny hints when we hangout, but we don't hangout as much as I would like to.

I am afraid that once I leave we won't talk very much at all. And when that happens I am afraid she will disappear. I do not want her to vanish like many other people have. Even if she never does become my first girlfriend, I would love her to still be my friend.

I would tell her mate and the way you described how you feel about her. It seems to me that your crush is developing in to full blown love. You maybe surprised she may like you too.

Be confident and ask her out. It can be something simple like coffee on a work break, or a real dinner date. This is such a sweet post, I wish you all the best.

You should let her know. Most LTE start off as friends and they usually are the ones to keep.

Just keep taking your time with her man. Also look into the rules about coworkers dating.
