What does this notification mean? "This person subscribed because of you"

The person was linked to SW because they clicked on one of your stories in one of the search engines. They most likely typed in "coyote" or some other search and saw one of your stories. . .clicked on it and then decided he liked this place and joined.

He probably read one of your experiences and hit the subscribe button up top for that category. You got credit cuz it was on ur page

I haven't seen that notification on SW before but I did see it on EP. I'm not sure what it means but I have a suspicion. Anything that we post on the public forum on SW (questions, stories, answers) will appear on an internet search if the person searches for key words which appear in what you wrote.

Then if they click on that in order to enter SW and then join SW it would seem that they are here because of what you wrote.

I believe it is referring to groups. Maybe they were scrolling through your groups on your profile and joined/subscribed to one of them.
