Anyone here got braces

Please tell me your experiences as Im considering to get them
SW-User
I had them from when I was 14 - 16. It wasn't too bad, food gets stuck in your teeth easily, and whenever I had to get them tightened my mouth and head would ache like hell after.

But it's worth it because my teeth were terrible back then. Now people tell me I have a nice smile 😊

they take x- rays of your teeth determine if you have to pull your teeth off, then they make molds of your teeth, when your done taking them off they put brackets on your teeth each one of them then the wire

My lower teeth are crooked so im sure I need braces for them but my upper teeth are fine but perfecting them wouldn't be bad lol
Well I had to get them today ,went to work and forgot my belt ,cvs only had braces ,they are quite comfy but not sure how they would feel rubbing on your boobs ,I guess they are cheap enough to just try them and see

@Nunlover: Braces for teeth ...not as in suspenders for pants .

That's wild !
I wore them from age 12-15. I wore the elastics and headgear (chin strap) and looked like a space alien for the first two years. It was very uncomfortable but not painful really. And at age 14 a boy who also had braces kissed me and we got caught for a few moments, which was embarrassing. My teeth had looked like a train wreck previously, so it was worth it when they were straight afterwards. It's not nearly as involved nowadays, though.

Haha that is so cute lol

Im glad to here it was worth it but did disturb the eating process
@offingg: A bit, like eating corn on the cob, popcorn and apples was problematic; it took a lot of work to clean afterwards.

@bijouxbroussard: Oh so I guess I have to be extra hygenic with them I will miss my stakes lol

All I'm going to say is that braces and bulimia don't mesh well.
Do it. You won't regret it. Are you getting the porcelain braces?
