Is psychology bogus ?

Most people don't realize it's integrated into our lives everyday and never see it. For example traffic lights (red tells you to stop to avoid a consequence) or scary movies (people like to experience fear when they know they are not in any real danger). Although working with several psychologists I've never known people with a doctorate could be so stupid at times...

Not even close. Psychology is paramount and effective. One just requires a compatible therapist. And the study of the mind develops much knowledge.
