Does anyone else get a little panicky when around two people arguing?

If my mom and her boyfriend get into an argument and they start yelling, I start having little anxiety attacks and I have to leave the room. The same thing happens if my dad yells at my brother for having an attitude over nothing, or if my boyfriend's stepdad starts going off on someone over something little. Am I the only one who ends up reacting this way? My parents fought a lot when I was little, but I don't really think that's the reason why I get like this.

I'm not surprised these situations appear threatening to you and your parents certainly should know better than to conduct their respective arguments in front of you. Leaving the room is probably the best approach. It's hard to know what else you could do as you have no control over your parents' behaviour. They should exercise some control over it though!

Thank you for understanding.
My parents don't really argue with each other. They've been divorced for 12 years and rarely speak with one another. My mom and her boyfriend rarely argue, but when they do, I feel like curling up in a ball and crying my heart out.
My dad does tend to yell sometimes, but it's mainly at my brother. He can get a bit... Well, you know how teens are.

A lot of people don't like conflict, even if they are not directly involved. I'm sure many people would feel the way you do about it. I'm glad it doesn't happen too often. :-)

Oh thank goodness! People have told me that I "over react" to these kinds of things and it just... I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way :'D

The ones yelling are doing the over reacting. I did until I didn't. It ran in my family too. I call It lack of self control. ;) We all have it... You're good hon...
