I Graduated From High School

Do you still have your high school class ring? To be honest, I don't. I don't even have the slightest clue what I ever did with it, or the last time I laid eyes on it, perhaps I do, maybe it is packed away somewhere at my parent's house, I really don't know. Back then the only class ring that I was interested in was Nich's.

Anyway, I saw somewhere online tonight that someone from Tolleson Union High School, in Arizona who graduated in 1989's class ring was recently found in a gas station in Lubbock, Texas and they are searching for the owner.

Millions of possibilities, but the owner might not even know it's gone, or how long it's been missing.

I have seen quite a few of these stories in the past too, but it leads me to this......

I wonder if there are people out there who even still look at those old class rings after graduating that many years ago (No, young folks with new class rings, I'm not referring to you, just us, old ones who graduated a million years ago like in 1998 or you know back in 1989)

Does the 70's count? I lost my sweethearts class ring in Ky Lake........just slipped right off my finger, didn't feel a thing.

I used to put tape on the back of mines so I could keep it on my finger without it falling off, but then I got one of the plastic ring guards so didn't need the tape. :) Yes, I can picture one just slipping off in a lake without knowing it, why did the guys have so much bigger fingers back then?I'll never know.
I won't have that problem because I don't even have one. Lol

Good for you, for being wise enough to not fall for the class ring trap, that many of us did, I know few people as they get older who even looks at theirs but at the time we had to have to them. 😂
@hami1091: perhaps I should throw in the fact my school was small and didn't sale them.

Who buys them? I didn't waste my money on something I would never wear.

A lot of people do buy them, but I personally would not buy one if I had a way to go back and do it over again, I never really had an interest in it, other than senior year of hs for a short time.

I thought they were big and ugly.
