From the time I visited - wonderful friendly people with amazing food and a rich culture. That was about 30yrs ago. I hope those I met are unchanged and still the sweet caring people I was privileged to meet

The situation in the Turkish refugee camps is really serious. Some of the refugees who are there are so desperated that they've started to sell their own organs!!

a few things.. they're like everyone else... i e-shop there much. they still need a revised prison system.. what a nightmare. they have bad government also.
their food is great, people are kind, hard working... they have immigrants too who are kind and hard working.
they work more than they get paid.
their politicians are corrupt.
they have the same worries for everything that the rest of us do.

i'll stop there.... for now.

I have no issue issue with Turks or Turkey, it has a rich beautiful history, but Erdogan is a prick and I wish they'll admit history instead of denying it (the Genocide of the Armenians and Assyrians and Pontics). We all have shameful chapters in our history, denying it doesn't help anyone.
