@spongemunky: I don't even watch the network news. I just assumed people want to support themselves year round. That's why Americans don't prefer seasonal harvest work. Americans actually have to live here, full time, not just during the season, and that's why migrant workers are considered the ideal solution for farmers. Neither the wage, nor the temporary nature of the work bothers a migrant worker, because it's far more than he'd earn back home, and he's not going to stay anyway. It's putting 2 and 2 together. You and your fat, lazy family can whine about it all you want, that doesn't change the truth of the matter.
