If you didn't make those mistakes, do you think you'd be the person you are today ?

no .everything to this point has made me the person i am today.

But I am sure I'd have made other mistakes to compensate.

No. I wouldn't. And I wouldn't have the family I have either. So, although I have regrets about some of the things I did, I wouldn't change any of them. Any change I might make would change my life so drastically, that most of my family would never have been born.
