Maybe your mom gives your brother more attention because he may really need it. And she may feel you are strong and have done her proud.. That doesn't make the actions right tho.

Look I understand I brought someone over without mom knowing and I lied to her about having him there. So yes I hurt her but it's been two months since it happened. Till then I haven't had him over and I've been trying to be honest with mom about things because I want us to have at least a decent relationship. So today the guy came to my job to hang out because I told him I was off and just getting lunch he said do you mind if I say hi for a little bit I'm like sure I'm ok with that so he said hi and left mom saw him and got angry at me which I said I was sorry but he just said hi it's not like we were doing anything itvhurts me to know you don't believe me but I understand I disowned your trust and I understand it's going to take awhile to gain it back but it hurts me just like I know it hurts me to know I hurt you now I know how it feel
