Unfortunately yes that's how it is for a lot of people but the good friends are the ones who have simple needs. They just need another body in the vicinity to take up space and the relationship sums up to a boredom with being alone and thankful just to have a meat body around in case you have anything to speak your mind about. That's the kind of person I am. Just a casual observer. I'd hang out and just watch and listen. Sometimes I would say things too weird that would just go over their head and: silence.
