why so much hate?

So I refused to vote, though at 36 I have never felt the need to vote because I don't support lots of things. But where I am confused is why so many people hate Donald Trump. What is it about him that causes so much anger. He wants to make America a better place for AMERICANS. What is your reason for the anger

Rape and sexual assault allegations, the way he speaks about women, his attitude towards women's reproductive rights...
ajsk1351-55, M
@Flenflyys: your a young lady and probably haven't heard a group of men bragging about there conquest or their imaginary conquest. I'm sure if you ask your mom she will confirm men tend to brag about such things as I suspect women do too. I know my wife can confirm she has heard such statement from my brothers and I. all these men in sports careers that claim this does not happen are a bunch of liars ,I assure you.

It's you're* a young lady. And thank you for your condescending assurance ajsk.
ajsk1351-55, M
@Flenflyys: lol I'm typing as fast as I can while working , give me a little slack and I'm not trying to be as you describe ,I'm just trying to show you the reality of men and women .. ask her..

I refuse to read anymore of your post beyond "so I refused to vote"

@DidIHurtYourFeelings: <~ just said he is careless~
@bijouxbroussard: As in we win some we lose some. I would be okay with either one. They are both strong and weak in there own areas. I just don't understand what everyone is crying about. Every few years we get a new President never has any of them made my life change thats why I say can careless.
@DidIHurtYourFeelings: You mean you couldn't care less ? Ah...yeah, I figured if you don't vote that was probably so.

Hate is such a counter-productive emotion. It poisons the spirit and renders the mind closed the discussion and debate.

I think it is because allowing emotion to bubble up without thought, argument, and reason is easier. Submerging oneself in hate or other emotion, removes ones duty to justify their own actions.

However, I could be wrong...
Then there's the hate that hate produced...

I voted for him, and I'm really glad he won, but I can certainly see why collectivist types...(I'm trying to say something besides, "democrats" ) would not like him. He has said some pretty crass stuff. He's not exactly 'refined'. I like that about him, but I understand why others may not.

I believe they invested so deeply into the fantasies created by the DNC they lost the ability to think for themselves. Now the reality has settled in that they might have to. No one likes to be wrong

What are your thoughts about abortion non-voter? Should women be punished for them? Should they be disallowed from having the choice? What about gay marriage? Any feelings about Dodd-Frank and the Consumer Protection Agency? Hope so. That directly impacts you. What about religion? Does freedom apply to all of them or just some of them? I'll assume you're a woman who doesn't care if she gets paid the same as men for the same work.

But I guess since you refused to vote you don't have an opinion on those things. Guess that's your right. But I would suggest at least considering what a "better America" means to you. That way you'll have the tiniest amount of skin in the game.
If you want my opinion, I don't support gay marriage, I don't support changing children into transexuals, I don't support people coming over from Mexico illegally I don't support black lives matter because I think every race is important. I'm sure if I voted you know who it would have been for

He's said/done things that make a lot of people think he can't represent or serve them.
MrBrownstone46-50, M
I felt the same about Hillary
MrBrownstone46-50, M
Excellent question!
Picklebobble56-60, M
Do you trust the BBC ?
Major news channel in England ?
Go to the bbc.co.uk/news page.
There you'll see all his quotes from this campaign.
Some if them are.....quite revealing !
MrBrownstone46-50, M
Media spreads lies and are about ratings.
Picklebobble56-60, M
@MrBrownstone: The BBC is publicly funded. And it's in the UK. So it has no baring on anything in the U.S. other than reporting news from around the world.
But it's all there !
You could accuse Clinton of creating soundbites for the news.
But you can't hide Trump's lack of diplomacy. Or policy come to that.

He's a racist for one thing, and a sexist; has a long history of discriminatory behavior and speech. If you consider that important, apparently a lot of Americans don't. But sounds like you're out of the loop anyway, if you live in the U.S. and have never voted.
