Do you think Donald Trump will honor the election results?

SW-User
He'll whine about it, eventually concede and then later claim he was forced by the crooked establishment to fail so that he can save face with all the aggrieved extremists he plans to sucker into being loyal Trump TV viewers.
SW-User
Only if he wins. Otherwise temper tantrum city at how rigged it was.

Am wondering what the issue even is ... am sure he is too ...

But, if bickering about this too can gen up more animosity between neighbors ... am sure it is a good thing.

And this is about ______ (fill in the blank)
SW-User
He threatens everyone who does not vote for him when he refuses to acknowledge the legitimacy of our free and fair elections. Pledging to do so has never removed the legal right to demand a recount form any candidate, yet he refuses to do so. His own campaign manager, running mate and party officials have challenged his baseless attacks on the sanctity of our electoral process. Do you not realize that you would have far more credibility if you actually treated people's concerns about him as valid instead of getting your hackles raised and feeling persecuted about every little bit of criticism levied against him? He is a deeply flawed person and a deeply flawed candidate. You can certainly still vote for him and you can even make the case that he has pros that outweigh his cons. But pretending those cons are fabricated or are mere trifles makes you appear naively sycophantic at best and intellectually dishonest at worst. Instead of trying to squeeze his unwieldy awfulness into the narrative you wish were true, maybe you should focus on your primary process and make a sincere effort to find and draft an electable candidate next time around who can be reasonably expected to implement those ideas you claim to support which aren't terrible on their face.
@Auberon89: I am never interested in credibility ... that is another of those elite things I find distasteful.

Okay, so I am naive, dishonest ... have a problem with my intellect ... support terrible ideas ... trifling, insulting and flawed?

Did I get them all?

Yep, I am good with all that!

Lol ... you are just trying to get on my good side with all the compliments!

Am sure you are glad I am not your neighbor or even an acquaintance.

All that fun aside ... so you were tragically insulted by Trump saying "he will look at the election when it happens"?

Am so glad I am much less sensitive
SW-User
Claiming you were less sensitive would have been more effective if you hadn't whined about all the perceived nasty things I've said about you. I'm actually showing you more respect than I've seen you show others who disagree with you. Faux pleasantries are not a substitute for comprehending the positions of others and addressing them substantively. Although I suppose that becomes a pointless exercise if one of us feels like the concept of being credible in word and deed is some sort of cultural quirk of snooty liberal elites.

In his own words he has stated that he will not accept the election results unless he wins. He's like a spoiled child that MUST get his way. Pathetic really.
JoyfulSilence · 46-50, M
He thinks he is Mussolini, or something.
SW-User
@JoyfulSilence: He doesn't even come CLOSE to Il Duce! 😜
JoyfulSilence · 46-50, M
I confess I do not know much about Mussolini.

I wish I had never heard of Trump.

If he loses he won't have a choice. He can challenge the results, there is precedent for that, but it likely won't change anything no matter what. It never has. It's pretty stupid for the media to be focusing on silliness when they could be doing their job and informing the voters on the candidate's proposed policies, accurately.
SW-User
I wish he'd drop off the face of the earth
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
👀 he has said, according to other people on here, that he wouldnt accept it
