Any tips for life in general?

Frankly, I'm absolute ass at life. (No, I don't mean the board game, but I'm pretty bad at that too.)

tip 1: try your very best to stop caring about what other people think about you if that's a problem
because that's my problem
and it's crippling
:) :D

For the most part, I think I got this down about a few years ago, and yes, it really is crippling.

🤓 you're great, look at all the cool 💩 you've done!
now... take a step... one more... one more... now turn around and look... might as well keep going... you aren't where you used to be, so you might wanna just take all the next steps and get this over with.

👏 🤗 [big]WTF?[/big] you did it!😱

1] always smile at the pretty girls!
2] smile and talk to all the other girls!
3] never imitate or take on a fad, they always fade away before you expect!
4] "Yes/No Sir/Maam" are valuable words, Use Them respectfully with All adults!
5] excuses, everyone has them and they're useless, Never needing one is better!
6] Never be afraid to ASK. People like to say "YES" to those willing & brave enough to risk being told "NO".
7] If they do say "NO", you just in the same spot you were, not "go back 3 spaces".
8] When they do say "YES," be proud and make them happy that they chose You!
9] If it's against the law, there's a reason... Being stupid and arrested was your decision!
10] If you don't like you life, then change it... Whining serves no purpose, ever!

That last one was my favorite. [:

@JoanieNewHampshire: in other words: "Don't Lie to Yourself" Especially for someone else's benefit, while thinking it is to your benefit also...it never is.
those words are accurate too!
if it ain't broke , don't fix it. if it is broke , get the hell away from it before you get blamed.

Heh, I'll definitely keep that in mind.

Choose your friends wisely.
Realize it's okay to cut toxic people out of your life.
Be kind
Be fair.
FreshAirLover · 26-30, M
My issue is I think I'm too quick to assume just about everyone is not interested in being a friend, even though they could simply be having a bad day or something like that. It happens to all of us.
Be you, but recognize others will be them!
FreshAirLover · 26-30, M
Got the former down, definitely need to work on the latter.
@FreshAirLover: you'll get there!
FreshAirLover · 26-30, M
That's the plan!
Do something kind, asking for nothing in return, for someone else every single day.
FreshAirLover · 26-30, M
Every day? Damn, I thought I was a decent person for doing that every week. No promises, but I'll see how that turns out (and if I can do it).

get living and experiencing what is of interest to you!
FreshAirLover · 26-30, M
I've got a few interests. I just wish I didn't have to always indulge in them alone.
Justpeaceandlove · 61-69, F
Accept and Love yourself as you are!
FreshAirLover · 26-30, M
Probably the toughest thing for me to do right now. Years of experiences in the past are the reason behind the difficulty.
Justpeaceandlove · 61-69, F
@FreshAirLover: You are right but nothing is impossible. And if you are as young as you say you have a much better start than most others! Never Give Up! :)

Don't piss on an electric fence.

I could use some more patience, especially with myself.
