Isn't the american propaganda machine amazing?

The rich are obscenely rich but SO MANY of you are so, so poor.
So many are badly educated. So many can't afford healthcare.

But "We got all the guns and military! Murrica number one!"

Germany tops that. We have no military, so many people are jobless and living off welfare and the refugees get fucking iPhones. Easy Peasy.

@UnparalleledMonster: Canada doesn't have much of a military presence. We rely on America to protect our flanks: even Alaska. America is the only other country we're near.

@UnparalleledMonster: don't assume we have "clean" water to drink. I live in a university apartment where the wells had high levels of arsenic and then they switched over to city water....about 8 years or so later the city tested the water and it was high in Chromium-6. And we also have uranium in the acquifers here, the petroleum industry has polluted the water in some rural areas by disposing of salt waste water.

The U.S. yearly military budget is nearly that of the rest of the world COMBINED. Couple that with the greatest disparity in wealth, by far, in our nation's history and we see the results.
But the ironic thing is that the "Real "Muricans" who would benefit the most by an overhaul of our financial and military institutions continue to support and vote for those who are in direct opposition to their own, personal best interests. They kiss the hand that beats them.
I'll never, EVER understand that.
