I love toast.,, and am something of an engineer
your Idea is laudable but has one hurdle
HEAT is very energy intensive that why you dont see batery operated heaters or ovens,,
you would need an enormous power supply like abig car pattery might be able to toast,, oh 20 times?
but i Do so love the idea of portable toast,, i have a tool that lets me toast on a camp fire!
