Did the Nazis really win WWII?

Germany lost WWII. But the Nazis didn't.

The Nazi power elite fled to south America along with their money and connections. Their spy network formed a good part of the post war OSS as it became the CIA. Some say their technological knowledge and science were stored in Antarctica, which is only a few miles from Tierra del Fuega, the end of south America.
I don't agree with this. Most of the Nazi's high command were trialed for war crimes. Those that fled were hunted down. Some lesser figures helped rebuild germany, but as is easily seen Germany is no longer Nazi.

Most of the Nazi's that were taken by the USA and USSR were scientists, researchers and intelligence personal. They were basically used by the Natzi's to try and discover better weapons and technologies... but for the most part they were forced to. And after the war were basically prisoners of the USA or USSR. Both the USA and USSR were hoping that the captured Nazi personal would help them get an edge over the other.

I believe that most of the high command escaped to South America.

And not to forget: Some Nazis got after WWII even in Germany jobs - jobs in high positions like judges or doctors. Comparing with their "dark past" these people had it was a really shame!!

most of the nazis were trialled in nuremberg and hung, maybe a few got a way, but they were hunted down by the allies and israelis. some of their scientists escaped death by working with usa etc.. to produce the nuclear bobm, but they were effectively prionsers

True, in part the book Odessa by Frederick Forsyth is about the extraction system used to get the guilty SS out of Germany and put the blame on the whole country instead of them specifically.

@manlybeardman: And the Vatican helped high ranking Nazi seek asylum.

@cherokeepatti: Also there was a TV Series "hunting Hitler" that did a good job investigating what happened to the Nazis at the end of the war.

Heil Hydra!
Usually an ideology wins when it's propagated, not mere by the success of the individuals carrying it

@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP: Like the CPUSA, the Nazis preferred working underground after WWII.
Many of them helped build our space program.
