I am sorry but I do t believe you will see martial law. I am a 19 year veteran of the United States Army and our oath is to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against ALL enemies, Foreign AND Domestic. The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs has been kicked out of the security council and the Dec. of Defense has already pushed back against Trump and his cabal of lackeys. You might see them attempt more control of the police forces or at least foster more "support" from within their organizations. But that is a very Orwellian scenario.

More seriously, we'll see local martial law instances and if that doesn't get the right kind of push back, national martial law with a suspension of the Constitution after that.
However, I've been somewhat heartened by how much the protests have stayed non-violent and just how bad the Bannon admin has shot itself in the foot - over and over - with the "bowling green massacre" and spicer's "don't call the ban a ban" ban and more. Getting your ass kicked (metaphorically) by tweets from 'renegade park service rangers' does a lot to depower the tinpot dictator.

@Cierzo: His desires are nit true? The State Dept is hollowed out and the USDA and EPA cannot do their jobs. The bannon admin has a small team of political officers in all the depts screwing with the professionals. The Muslim ban is his idea. I'd say he's been rather busy destroying the fedgov.
