All I really know about the campaigns is that the Californian independence movement completely ripped off the Yes Scotland logo.

Neither one but if one could it would not be California because they are too dependent on support from others because of their liberal spending and entitlements.

California generates more wealth than any other state in the union.
@Burnley123: As of 2016, in terms of the states most dependent upon federal funds (with #1 being most dependent), California ranked #46 out of 50). Sad that my fellow countryman doesn't realize this---hey, but any excuse to slam liberals, huh ? 🙄

I've assumed for years Texas would go first, followed by the South, and then the rest of the U S and A would break up into about seven countries. Now it looks like California might go first. Go California!

Given the recent events in California with the severe weather, it seems to highlight an inability to tackle the issue of weather. Obviously there are plenty of countries that have sought aid after bad weather before but some Trump supporters have gleefully enjoyed the fact that the Californian government has had to ask Trump for help

😂 Nicola rocked as secret memo reveals indyref2 could leave Scots defenseless against Winter snow
thatscottishguy · 26-30, M
Already defenseless in the UK as Scotrail can't handle fucking Autumn now.
@sevco2012: Want to hear something ironic ? Most of the areas that need federal assistance for flooding and mudslides are the few areas with Trump supporters. So if he denied it out of spite he wouldn't be hurting the folks here who don't support him.

Texas has already tried to be an independent county in the past. They probably would still like to be their own country
sweetiepiehuggs · 41-45, F
nope don't want that at all...
CaptainCanadia · 41-45, M
Honestly, I think that the US would split into several countries at once rather than just one leaving. Buuuut, probably Texas. More of a history there.
sweetiepiehuggs · 41-45, F
I live in Texas and I hope that never happens here. I think it would be a HUGE mistake.
thatscottishguy · 26-30, M
Can I ask why?
sweetiepiehuggs · 41-45, F
@thatscottishguy: Well we would be cutting off all support. Mexico would prolly try to go to war with us. That's not something I want to see. I love being apart of the United States. I don't think we are perfect by a long shot but I love my country.

Think there is still some want for it in Quebec and the rest of Canada hates them.

Or maybe they should be part of Mexico
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
Neither imo.

@thatscottishguy: Yes. Which person is more likely to fly to the moon; Katie Hopkins or Morgan Freedman? A or B.
thatscottishguy · 26-30, M
@Burnley123: A because the tax payers will happily pay to send her there if she can't return.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@thatscottishguy: Good answer. 😂
I just don't see California doing it (and I live here). Texas has no reason to, since Trump is in office. If they didn't go through with their threat to secede when Obama was reelected, they're not going anywhere now.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@thatscottishguy: I'll scold you anyway Braveheart.
thatscottishguy · 26-30, M
@Burnley123: Fuck off crumpet muncher😂
