Do Americans actually want to cut Obamacare and/or Medicare?

I am especially interested in what Trump voters think on this.

I know 2 small business owners who got better coverage for less money through the exchanges..
The US for profit model is so fucked up...jus because we pay more doesn't make it better

I believe people want it replaced with something reasonable that's designed to actually works rather than implode and force us into a single payer system

removing it with no sort of replacement is a bad idea though
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
Do you think that could happen though? From what I have read it seems to be a GOP plan to make massive cuts.

@Burnley123: we'll see how things go after the 20th

The creation of a cross state lines highly competitive health insurance environment will work wonders

@Jackjjacksonjr: lol ..... that muppet is incapable of analysing anything.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
@pezzza: shhhh. Don't hurt his feelings, too much 😂 Muppet lol
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@nedkelly: Competitive insurance companies = double the price of single payer.

Please look up the cost of other healthcare systems. You'll discover that I'm right.
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
I imagine that the 22m people who actually benefit from it certainly don't. Those who complain about it do so for ideological reasons , or at least that's what they believe.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
@pezza the media chooses to ignore the hugely inflated prices of employer health care due to the ACA.
Socialclutz · 36-40, M
Most Trump voters were against obumfuck care before it was passed. That hasn't changed since
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
What would you have instead?
Obamacare is shit, so yes. lol
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@MorbidCynic: Would you support a European style single-payer system?
@Burnley123: Nope.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@MorbidCynic: So you are against everything then. LOL. Cynic indeed. ;-)
Benny5678 · 41-45, T
Typical Americans. Quick to say 'No. Fuck socialism'. But not having any reasonable solutions.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
LOL. I am looking for reasons why but not getting them.

Bernie is OK though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxOGXu0ydQA

Not all Trump supporters are free market republicans. Some are liberal on economic issues. They could be pretty pissed off when they found out what they voted for.
nedkelly · 61-69, M
What about the democrat supporters who also hate Obamacare
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
Go for it. What do you think and why?
nedkelly · 61-69, M
@Burnley123: I am Australian and what i have seen and read about Obamacare it has been a disaster
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@nedkelly: I'm a Brit but it seems to be a glass-half empty/ half full scenario. There have been cock-ups and it is expensive but it has insured more people. I think single payer or NHS would be better but Obamacare is probably better than nothing. Medicare is a public policy for older people.
