How unsafe is the USA when the president elect does not believe and dismisses the us govt intelligence agencies?

We've all been lulled into a false sense of security and safety. It's been happening since we put more faith in our government then we have in ourselves.
And any consern we have we think and we expect our government to do something to stop it. Go to a mall, go to a movie, go to a parade, go to a gay bar. In spite of a that has happened the majority of people go about their business.p like sheep. Perhaps with a little concern. But the lull I speak of is a conditioning that they are helpless and if something should happen the authorities are the ones who will fix it. @Oconnor:

@Oconnor: Be scared!

The reason an entire "faith" is under suspicion is simple.

It is not "Just a Religion" it is a CONTROLLING MANDATE from an Angry God that too many of these Muslims are insane enough to believe, give their lives for, and wait centuries to achieve.
Universal Sharia Law (read about it) and a 100% Islamic World are the goals. Death of Christians, Buddhists, Jews, Hindus, etc. OR Conversion are also 100% necessary.
Not all Muslims are stupid backward goat herders, their leaders are experts on spreading their faith incrementally and will endure and pass on their faith and plan for decades. Look what decades have done to Europe, to Turkey, to Iran, to England and parts of the US.

Don't be a fool and pity those who hold this secret deep and would rejoice over your dead body if they could act today.

@ValerianSpatioTemporalAgent: Do you know any Muslims? Have you lived among them? Visited their mosques? Seen their celebrations and holy days observed?

You have absolutely no idea what you're speaking about.

What the president is suppose to believe all these intelligent agencies - are you for real - how long did it take to find Osama Bin Laden. The intelligence agencies are full of YES MAN who are too afraid to say anything to upset the leaders. All of these secret government agencies does not make america a safer place to live.
All of this happened because of people who call themselves "liberals" and are considered the political 'left'. Trump is president because the "left" has gone completely mad. This is the backlash for bizarre behavior and twisted logic. Welcome to it. If democrats were real democrats, and liberals were real liberals, Trump would probably not be president, but liberals and the democratic party are a thing of the past. Dead and gone; replaced by characters from "Through the Looking Glass" or "Alice in Wonderland". How anyone can stand in solidarity with these unbelievably strange people is beyond me.
I'm glad Trump was elected, and I voted for him, maybe a good figurative 'shaking' is what this baby needs.

He's riding this wave of "We're throwing out the rulebook" idiocy, all while staffing his new cabinet with 17 people whose wealth equals the entire lower third of this nation...so much for draining that swamp.

Trump think he doesn't need briefings for two reasons, I believe. One, he simply does not understand what are actually very complicated and nuanced global matters and two, he truly thinks he ca just wing it by telling people how to act. That might work in the boardroom, but outside that door we have actual policy, legally binding measures and relations with other nations that should not be disregarded.

Well winging it has gotten him this far. So I don't blame him. Enough stupid folks around

He said he'd date his daughter and married a prostitute. I never trusted him after that.
Goralski · 51-55, M
Wouldn't you
goagainsttheflow · 26-30, F
@Goralski: ...Wouldn't we all? :0
Valerian · 100+, M
taken way out of context

If you're talking about the accusations against Russian government in regards to hacking, I have to ask where the proof is. I'm somewhat tech savvy so I'd like to see logs, interviews with systems admins, etc. Really anything other than an "I said so" from unnamed officials.

Something else that bothers me is that the US media reports that voting machines were hacked. Any computers on a shared network will be much easier to hack than a single, disconnected computer. This is fact. The internet would provide an additional (and unnecessary) attack vector. So does the US government admit incompetency or what?
Niburu · 51-55, M
apparently Mr. Podesta's hacked email account had the password set to "password"
Valerian · 100+, M
@Niburu: not that, but stupid enough.
He answered a Phishing Email that a savvy 14 yr old could have written! Gave away his new password. Dumbness!
Niburu · 51-55, M
regardless that moron and all the other technically challenged idiots in government need the wake up call
Valerian · 100+, M
Sorry you believe whatever crap it is you get your news from!
Intelligence agencies all lie, all have an agenda, and none want to look bad at budget time. The NSA was spying on YOU more than Russia or China!
You really think they do their jobs to Protect Us? Nope! They just do as they please, lie as needed, and spy on Americans
Valerian · 100+, M
Nearly everything I extensively read and pay attention to combined and NOT an angry liberal or progressive or socialist or republican or conservative sound bite or outburst or guess or "what if" that too many fools believe to be news, just because so authoritarian looking, supposedly "smart" expert spouts it on a news segment lasting 3 minutes!!
SW-User
@ValerianSpatioTemporalAgent: So again, your evidence against the NSA and other intelligence agencies is specifically what?
Valerian · 100+, M
what i hear walking down the halls and peeking around corners
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
I wouldn't believe everything you read.
There has been more controversy written about this guy in the period leading up to him actually taking office than in the last ten years.
If he's not taking them himself, somebody in his team must be.
But a lot of it comes from his own tweets, of which there are many. And lest you think he's been misquoted, he's often been quite happy to repeat what he said on video or in interviews.
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
@bijouxbroussard: Agreed, But what moron is advising this man to tweet in the first place ??
It's not even as if he has anything other than rhetoric to say !!

I would think no one would trust what US govt intelligence agencies say since they tend to lie a lot.
