People are way out of whack with Trump. If we survived 8 years of Bush, then we will survive 4 of Trump. He has no chance in following through on his main platform promises so if the economy is better in 4 years, he will get another 4. In the end, that is all most see and care about anyway. The funny thing is he doesn't really have any control over that.

I think you're wrong about that. I foresee more conservative Democrats in the house to be more receptive to Trumps agendas and the smart Republicans to know they will need to follow his lead to hold public faith in their party. Trump has a windfall with a republican congress and the stars are aligned to get infrastructure improvements, close tax loopholes for the rich, and put some limits (if not end) the global currency manipulation problems.

That last one by the way is a huge part of the immigration quandry.

@Noahkahol: Time will tell. What is he going to do to limit, or end, the currency issue? The Federal Reserve dictates the economy.

Good luck with the changes. The stars are aligned, as you said, so we will see this change. Put me on the side of George Carlin when it comes to election year...

The currency issues are multifaceted. One thing is energy cost exploitation. Another is the fractional disparities between import quantities lagging behind or outpacing foreign currency valuation. Too complicated to explain here but it will improve things for everybody form a peace and prosperity standpoint.

Expect resistance by the megawealthy. The 1% won't let go of the windfall profits very easily unless they know they can keep their position in the food chain.

If someone doesn't shoot him, he will probably drop dead soon. He looks like warmed over death, and 70 is way too old for the stresses of that bad job.

He'd really have to screw up big time to get impeached. But you know bill was impeached for his sexual acts in the Oval Office, who knows if Trump can keep it in his pants for 4 years.

Let's be real though, he knows nothing about the government- his cabinet will be making all he moves for him.
