The men's handball world championship is at the moment played in in Paris.
It began yesterday when France won their match with Brazil and it will go on for a couple of weeks.

France is the defending champion but there are many other very strong teams as for instance Germany (European Champions) and Denmark (Olympic Champions) so the 24 teams will play many exciting matches.
