Here's my ranking of the Top 5 Michael Jackson music videos
1. Thriller
2. Smooth Criminal
3. Black or White
4. Billie Jean
5. Bad
Now of course there's so many classic videos but I tried ranking these on overall quality. Which includes conceptually, artistry and how well it entertains. And when approaching it like this Thriller is obviously number 1 and it's perfect from start to finish with its pacing, variety and choreography. As well as Smooth Criminal. I personally prefer Criminal music video to Thriller but I honestly think Thriller has it beat. And whereas videos like The Way You Make Me Feel and Remember the Time are wonderful too they are just "cool" in my opinion. And often seem like a mismatch of things. Especially Remember the Time. And other videos like Don't Stop Til You Get Enough are great too but often it's just Michael dancing to a back drop. It's worth mentioning I almost put Leave Me Alone in Billie Jeans spot but I decided to go with Billie Jean because of how well it was put together despite the fact Leave Me Alone is more visually interesting
