It's the end of an era (for me at least.)
Today I went on a music buying binge, and bought ten songs. That means I have to delete at least 13 to make room on my iPod.
I've made the tough decision of getting rid of Leona Lewis. After ten years as a fan of hers, and owing 60+ of her songs (spanning seven albums) I am parting with most of them, leaving only 39.
I realize the silliness of this post but, Leona (and other artists) have helped me through rough times. 39 songs is still a lot, but it's hard. Especially considering I genuinely enjoy every song on my iPod. If I didn't like it, it wouldn't be on there. So it's hard to part ways with my music, even songs I don't really listen to anymore.
Sometimes I'm in the mood to her music from 1950-1969, other times I'm in the mood to hear 90's R&B, and sometimes I only want to hear classic rock. But I honestly haven't been in a Leona Lewis mood lately, so it's makes sense to take some of her songs off my iPod.
First world problem filled rant, over.
